GENERAL PRODUCT FAQS CAN THE CLIPS ON THE NOTETOWER® PRODUCTS HOLD SELF-ADHESIVE NOTES? Yes. Each of the NoteTower® products enable self-adhesive notes to be efficiently inserted and extracted from the flexible clips. The NoteTower® clips have been specifically designed for holding self-adhesive notes of all shapes and sizes. In fact the NoteTower® desktop products are supplied with 50 sheets of 3in x 3in (7.6 x 7.6cm) self-adhesive note paper.
HOW DO THE NOTETOWER® CLIPS WORK? Each of the innovative flexible clips on the NoteTower® products place a small amount of friction on the paper item inserted into the clips and it is this friction that holds the paper item in place. The clips all act independently allowing them to hold paper items of various shapes and sizes.
CAN THE NOTETOWER® PRODUCTS HOLD PAPER ITEMS OF DIFFERENT THICKNESSES? Yes. The innovative clips on the NoteTower® products are flexible which enable them to hold and display paper of various thicknesses. The clips hold thin paper items such as adhesive notes and yet the clips function the same when thicker paper items such as photos and business cards are applied.
WHAT IS THE PAPER CAPACITY OF THE FEXIBLE CLIPS?
The recommended maximum paper capacity for the flexible clips is paper no greater than 320gsm or equivalent to 4 sheets of standard 80gsm copy paper. (gsm = grams per metre square). Inserting paper items greater than this maximum paper thickness will eventually damage the clips by over expanding the clips which will cause the clips to lose flexibility and their ability to hold paper items.
DESKTOP MINI, PRO & ORGANIZER FAQS ARE THE NOTETOWER DESKTOP PRODUCTS STABLE WHEN IN USE?
Yes. The NoteTower® Desktop products are fitted with a nano-suction pad at their base that provides secure mounting to desktop surfaces. The nano-suction pad provides a strong temporary bond, yet minimal force is required to reposition the products on a desktop. The nano-suction pad can be reused repeatedly and does not leave any residue.
HOW DO THE NANO-SUCTION PADS THAT SUPPORT THE NOTETOWER MINI, PRO AND ORGANIZER PRODUCTS WORK?
The nano-suction pads utilises the vacuum of millions of small air pockets to create a powerful bond to the desktop. Applying finger pressure at the base of the NoteTower® Desktop products, pushes the air out of the small pockets within the nano-suction pad. The displacement of air within these pockets creates the vacuum that produces the powerful bond. To release the bond and the product from the mounting surface, simply rotate and lift the base of the desktop product and this effortlessly removes the product from the desktop and it is now ready to be repositioned.
DO THE NANO-SCUTION PADS LEAVE ANY RESIDUE ON THE MOUNTING SURFACE?
No. The nano-suction pad obtains its bonding properties from the vacuum of small air pockets and therefore does not leave any residue on the mounting.
THE NANO-SUCTION PADS HAVE LOST THEIR BONDING ABILITY. HOW DO I FIX IT?
The nano-suction pads will lose their adhesiveness if they get dirty from the collection of dust and other particles. In order to clean the nano-suction pads, simply rinse them with water, wipe with a clean cloth and air dry. Once the nano-suction pads are clean and dry they will maintain its bonding ability and is ready for use.
MONITOR MOUNT FAQ’S CAN I MOUNT THE MONITOR MOUNT DIRECTLY ONTO MY LAPTOP?
The NoteTower® Monitor Mount is designed to be mounted directly onto laptops and tablets. It is noted that the spring clamp should be mounted wholly onto the bevel of the laptop or tablet only. Do not mount any part of the spring clamp directly onto the surface of the monitor screen.
CAN I MOUNT THE NOTETOWER® MONITOR MOUNT DIRECTLY TO THE BEVEL OF MY LCD MONITOR AND NOT USE THE L-SHAPED BRACKET? The Monitor Mount can be mounted directly to the bevel of a LCD monitor subject to the shape and thickness of the monitors side profile and bevel. The spring clamp should be mounted wholly onto the bevel of the LCD monitor. Do not mount any part of the spring clamp directly onto the surface of the LCD monitor screen.
HOW DOES THE NOTETOWER® MONITOR MOUNT L-SHAPED BRACKET MOUNT TO AN LCD MONITOR? The plastic L-shaped bracket contains a strip of permanent adhesive foam tape. The L-shaped bracket is mounted directly to the side of large monitors including LCD monitors. Apply the L-shaped bracket to a clean, smooth surface to ensure maximum holding strength.
WILL NOTETOWER® MONITOR MOUNT SCRATCH OR DAMAGE MY MONITOR?
The monitor mount spring clamp is fitted with protective rubber strips. These rubber strips make contact with the surface of the monitor which protect the monitor from scratch or damage. The rubber strips also provide the necessary grip for the secure mounting of the product to the monitor.
WHY DON’T THE FOLDING ARMS RETRACT BACK INOT THEIR ORIGINAL POSITION?
The folding support arms need to be retracted in the correct sequence in order for them to fit neatly behind the clip board component. The sequence requires the support arm, as identified with a hole near its tip, be retracted first then followed by the other support arm. If these support arm are not retracted in this sequence, they will not fit neatly into the rear of the clip board component. This applies to both the NoteTower® Monitor Mount and the NoteTower® Desktop Pro.
